Just so yall know…

Drinking mountain dew at 3 am is never a good idea.

I almost spent $50 dollars on a printer just because it was marked down to $10 dollars after a $125 instant rebate.  So what if shipping ended up being $40.30… I’m still saving a hundred and twenty five dollars, right?

NO! That’s not right… what I am doing is SPENDING over fifty dollars for a printer that I don’t need and don’t have space for.  True, I do need ink for my multifunction inkjet printer, and yes, it is also true that ink jet cartridges aren’t cheap and they don’t last as long as toner for a laser printer.  But… is it really any better to spend $50 on a laser printer and have to pay an arm and a leg for toner?

Bottom line, yes it would probably be a good idea to get a laser printer sometime in the future, but it isn’t a necessity right now.  Also, an impulse buy at 5 o’clock in the morning is never a good idea.

Speaking of… I should get to sleep.

Today my law and ethics processor called my class hippies.

The kind that like “literature, art, the environment, and say ‘OH! poor animals!’ … not the kind that grow marijuana.”
